74th Republic Day Celebration 2023

”Today was when India's constitution was made, and we got independence in a real sense. Let us respect the day”.

Gajera International School, Utran celebrated 74th Republic Day in the School ground with immense patriotic fervour and zeal. A plethora of activities were organized to infuse the spirit of unity, brotherhood and patriotism among the learners.

The celebration began with the hoisting of the Indian National Flag by the Chief Guest, Mr. Raghav Singh (Ex. Army Officer), and the dignitaries such as Mr. Rajkumar Shukla (Ex. Air force officer), Mr. Amrendra Singhji (Ex. Navy Officer), Mr. Govindbhai Vala (Ex. Army Officer), Dr. Devendra Bagasariya (M.D.,at Narayan Hospital, CA Sakhiya Anand Chunibhai, Mr. Manojbhai Usadiya (Lawyer), Mr. Haresh Korat (owner of Korat Pharmaceuticals), accompanied by the School Principals which was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland.

Students of various sections of the school and NCC cadets were dressed in their respective uniforms and marched in the parade, carrying the tricolour with pride and enthusiasm.

The parade was followed by felicitation of the dignitaries by the School Principals and a Speech by the Chief Guest highlighting the importance of this day and the need to stay united as a nation.

The students of our school showcased their talents through various cultural programs including Dance, Music, Drama, Gymnastic, Yoga, Pyramid, Skating, and speech which triggered in the audience many emotions like pride, love and respect for our country. No Celebration is complete without making us feel proud of the fact that, “Saare Jahan Se Acchha Hindustan Hamara.”

The event came to an end with a vote of thanks to the Chief Guest and dignitaries for their presence, School staff, teachers and the students for their active participation in making the Republic day a wonderful ceremony and celebration.
