Annual Sports Meet 2022-23 (Primary & Secondary)

Gajera International School, Utran unfolded a sporting session upholding the true spirit of integrity as the school celebrated its Annual Sports Meet on 31st January and 1st February 2023 with great enthusiasm and zest.

The magnificence of the day was made stronger by the gracious presence of Ms.Khyati Patel who is India’s 2nd woman to finish 220 k.m race at Rishikesh Ultra.

The students of Grade I to IX participated in various sports events.

The programme began with the rendition of Prayer by the school choir group followed by the felicitation of the esteemed guests by the honorable Principal, Ms.Shashikala Yadav.

She also extended a warm welcome to the respected luminaries and gave a glimpse of the marvellous achievements of the school.

A spectacular march past by the students of all four houses was presented in complete unison. It was followed by the declaration of the Meet open and lighting of the torch by the Chief Guest.

The much-awaited track and field events including 50 mt,100 mt, 200 mt, and 400 mt flat races, 4x100 Mt. relay along with high jump, long jump, shot put etc were a part of the sports event.

The relay race reverberated with enthusiastic cheers and applause from the spectators. The air was filled with cheering and loads of encouragement for the young and budding athletes.

Speaking on the occasion, the Chief Guest, Ms. Khyati Patel congratulated the participants on their enthusiastic display of talent and spirit of sportsmanship.

She appreciated the competitive spirit instilled in the Gajerians and encouraged them to pursue their goals with grit, determination and perseverance.

The Principal gave away the certificates to the winners in the closing ceremony. The 'Best House' trophy was awarded to Green House by the Principal, Ms. Shashikala Yadav.

She motivated all the students to take part in sports enthusiastically.
