Children's Day Celebration
“Children are like buds in a garden and should be carefully and lovingly nurtured as they are the future of the nation and the citizens of tomorrow.”
These were the words of our First Prime Minister, Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, whose birthday on 14th November is celebrated as Children’s Day to commemorate his love for children and his faith that proper education of children could lead to the country’s progress.
To mark this significant day, a Special Assembly was conducted by the educators wherein they sang the prayer and presented the news and thought for the day. Educators enthralled the students with the Skit which was mesmerizing. Children enjoyed and shared beautiful moments watching the movie in the conference hall. Students shared their snacks and lunch with their classmates and enjoyed the beautiful moments.
The school principal blessed the children on this special day and saluting the spirit of childhood said that we should celebrate the spirit of child within us. She also said that this beautiful bond of educators and students should be made stronger each passing day happily as Children’s Day.
