First Day at School

"A new year, a new beginning! Let's make it a great one!"

The first day of a New Academic Year is always a special occasion for Learners and Educators alike. It marks the beginning of a fresh journey filled with new challenges and opportunities.

This year, on the first day of the Academic Year 2023-24, Learners were welcomed in a traditional way by doing tilak on their forehead. This is a common practice in many parts of India, and it is believed to bring good luck and blessings to the person who receives the tilak.

The day started with an assembly, where the principal welcomed all the Learners back to school. The Educators also introduced themselves and spoke about their expectations for the year ahead. The Learners were then taken to their respective classrooms, where they were greeted by their class teachers. The Educators handed out the syllabus and explained the schedule for the day.

After the initial formalities were over, the Learners were shown a movie. The movie was chosen specifically to inspire and motivate the Learners for the year ahead. It was a great way to start the academic year, and the Learners thoroughly enjoyed it.

As part of the celebrations, a selfie corner was set up where Learners’ pictures with their friends were clicked by photography team. The Secondary Learners were also given the opportunity to enjoy some sports. This was a great way for them to unwind after the first day of classes and get some exercise. It was also a chance for them to bond with their classmates and make new friends.

Overall, the first day of the academic year 2023-24 was a great success. The traditional welcome, movie screening, selfie corner, and sports activities, all helped to create a positive and exciting atmosphere.

The Learners left school that day feeling motivated and ready to take on the challenges of the year ahead. As the year progresses, we look forward to seeing the Learners grow and achieve their goals.
