Indian Navy Day Celebration

Every year, Indian Navy Day is celebrated on 4th December to acknowledge the role & achievements of Indian Naval forces. The day is also observed to commemorate the launch of Operation Trident against Pakistan during the Indo-Pakistan War in 1971. The Indian Navy played a crucial role during the war. To commemorate the attack and to pay tribute to all the Navy personnel who sacrificed their lives serving the nation, Indian Navy Day is observed.

To mark the success of the Indian Navy, Gajera International School, Utran celebrated Indian Navy Day on 5th December 2022 . The Chief Guests of the Programme were Sunil Kumar Singh (Navy officer), Ajay Singh (Navy officer), Amrendra Singh (Veterans India President, South Gujarat), Dilbag Singh (Ex Army Officer).
The programme commenced with a speech by Mr. Dilbag Singh on significance of the day highlighting the might of Indian Navy and its vital roles in maintaining maritime security to the nation. He explained to students about the Indian Armed Forces which consist of three uniformed services: Indian Army, Indian Navy and Indian Air Force. He motivated students to pursue their careers in the Indian Armed Force.
The programme concluded commemorating all the Indian navy personnel for their selfless service and supreme sacrifice to the nation.
