Inter School Debate Competition 2022

Inter School Debate Competition – 2022 was organized by Gajera Group of Schools on 30th December 2022 at Gajera Vidyabhavan, Utran. Students from different branches of Gajera Group of Schools and many other schools across Surat had participated in the competition.

This competition provided students a chance to enhance their communication skills, learn how to think critically and practice public speaking.

The competition was divided into two rounds: Individual brief - up and Rebuttal round. During the preliminary round, all the participants presented their views for the motion and against the motion on the given topic. In the second round, they presented their arguments in either the affirmative or the negative.

The judges evaluated the participants based on their confidence, oratory skills, clarity of thought and then announced the winning team along with Best Speaker and Best School.

The Inter School debate competition was an incredible experience for all of the participants. Not only did they gain valuable communication skills, but they also learned how to think critically and strategize. It was also an excellent opportunity for the students to gain confidence in public speaking.

The competition was a great success, and the students had a wonderful time. It was an enjoyable experience for all involved, and a great way for students to foster collaboration and develop greater understanding of global issues.
