Women's Day Celebration 2022-23

International Women’s Day is celebrated annually on March 8 to commemorate the cultural, political, and socio economic achievements of women. There are so many times when we don’t really appreciate what women do for us. Here’s a big thanks to all the amazing women for their hard work and dedication.

On the occasion of International Women's Day, Gajera International School organized a special event to celebrate the achievements and contributions of women in various fields. The event was attended by, teachers, and staff members, who came together to honor the women who have made a significant impact in their communities and around the world.

The celebration began with a prayer. The school principal and some of the teachers addressed the gathering, highlighting the importance of women's empowerment and gender equality. They spoke about the challenges faced by women in various spheres of life, and the need for society to work towards creating a more equitable and just world.

After the speeches, a group of teachers presented a dance, the entire school joined in, singing and dancing to the rhythm, creating a joyous and celebratory atmosphere. The performance was applauded by the audience.

The chief guest Dr. Sweta Patel, speaker of many adolescent education and women Empowerment-programs/Seminars/Workshops. She is also awarded by Surat Municipal Corporation on Women’s Day, 2020. Dr. Sweta Patel shared their experiences and insights on what it takes to succeed as a woman in a male-dominated world.

They spoke about the challenges they faced and the strategies they used to overcome them, inspiring the women’s in the audience to pursue their own dreams fearlessly. The event ended with a song sang by teachers which was dedicated to women's empowerment and social justice.

Overall, the Women's Day celebration at Gajera International School was a powerful reminder of the importance of gender equality and women's empowerment. It showcased the achievements and contributions of women from all walks of life, and inspired the young students to dream big and work towards a brighter future.
