World Doctors Day

Only a life lived for others is a life worthwhile.

“An ordinary individual who finds the strength to persevere and endure in spite of overwhelming obstacles; this describes a doctor.” National Doctors Day is celebrated on the 1st of July in memory of the great physician’s birth and death anniversary and West Bengal’s second Chief Minister, Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy.

Since then, India has grown in the medical field by leaps and bounds, not only to further the work of Dr. B.C. Roy but also with new and innovative techniques. This day helps to thank all those who supported us selflessly and faithfully in our times of need, in commemoration of these values, for the wellbeing of their patients. Our objective behind the celebration of Doctor’s day is to acknowledge the contributions of doctors - the human’s service to mankind.

Gajera International School, Utran celebrated National Doctors Day by organizing an interactive session with doctors – Dr. Sanjay Thummar ( President of Medical Association-Mota Varachha), Dr.Vipul Bhadiyadra (M.D. at Mother Hospital), Dr. Kashyap Ramolia (M.S. – Orthopedics at Yamuna Orthopedics Hospital), Dr. Darshan Chauhan (Pediatrician at Param Hospital), Dr. Alpesh Khichadiya (Pediatrician at Param Hospital) & Dr. Nimesh Ramoliya (Medical Officer at Radhe Hospital) wherein they guided and shared their experiences with young Gajerians.

A talk show was arranged of Dr. Nimesh Ramolia with young Gajerians wherein he shared his experience and answered the questions asked by learners to satisfy their curiosity about medical profession.

Salute to all Doctors for their selfless service & Happy Doctors Day to all Doctors!!
