World Fathers Day Celebration
Fathers are real-life superheroes for their kids!
Daddy, you are strong and tall,
Stay by me and catch me whenever I fall.
Batman, Spiderman and Superman there be,
I look up to you as my Superhero to be.
I will follow your steps, wherever you go,
You are my pride, Daddy, do you know!
Fathers are the god-sent angels to protect their families! He is the one who works throughout the day without any break for the betterment of his beloved. Nonetheless, this man sacrifices his happiness, and desires for making his little world happy. When a man switches to fatherhood, he also becomes a best friend, motivator, and many more for his kids.
To appreciate their efforts, every year Father’s Day is celebrated on the third Sunday of June. For children, it is a day to show appreciation for their fathers and father-figures. Even though the occasion of Father’s Day is celebrated once a year, the sacrifices and the unspoken teaching of a father deserve countless moments of celebration.
While everyone has a different plan on how they are going to surprise their superheroes, father’s day messages will be the common element all throughout.
A father is a treasure; a brother; a comfort; a friend. His heritage to his children isn’t words or possessions, but an unspoken treasure, the treasure of his example as a man and a father.
At Gajera International School, Utran, we have capitalized on the true value of emotions in building relationships through various activities with fathers and their kids.
They participated in different games like Bouncing the ball, Target throw, Basketball, Table Tennis, Musical chair, Badminton, Tug of War etc. and enjoyed a lot.
Students thanked their superheroes for their limitless love, care, motivation and expressed their gratitude for the special place and influence they have in their life. What a beautiful day it was!
